Prior experience and training are not necessary to work at Charis Hills. The camp provides all needed training and experience you need to be successful.
All camp staff will attend at least one week of training prior to the summer. This is an intense time as counselors from all walks of life come together to learn about Charis Hills, our campers and each other.
The days are long, with training starting after breakfast and sometimes ending after 9 pm. Sessions will vary from sit down classroom presentations, to games, to work projects, to teaching crafts projects, as well as other methods.
